Buyukcekmece Festivals
The third major Buyukcekmece Festival has been held every year since 2000 at the Culture and Art Festival center. Artists and dancers from Turkey and abroad showcase their talents, and the festival is growing every year.
The first day of the festival will be held in Cumhuriyet Square and will start with jokes by famous satirists and concerts by famous artists. With fireworks and dance groups from fifty countries around the world, they try to best represent the traditional dance of their country. 35,000 people participate in this festival annually.
